Description
Visioning Objectives
Visioning an organisation’s future can be a challenge. Frequently, people find it hard to project themselves and the organisation into the future.
This game helps to reframe the context of their thinking, enabling teams to articulate how the future state will look, after their vision is achieved.
Group Size
- Four or more
Visioning Instructions
Explain to the group that they are going to play a game that will require them to present their vision for the future as if it were a news bulletin. The news bulletin will be transmitted after the vision has been delivered successfully.
Ask the group to nominate two ‘news anchors’. The news anchors will present the bulletin.
Split the group into two smaller groups. Ensure you have one news anchor in each group. Each group must create and define the key messages that will be contained within the news bulletin.
Let the delegates know that you will act as a ‘roving reporter’, moving between each group. You will be asking them questions to help their thinking.
Once complete, ask each news anchor to present their bulletins.
